The Department of Treasury, an equal opportunity employer, invites applications for the position of Central Office Operations Manager, State Administrative Manager 15, within the Bureau of Local Government and School Services. This position serves as the operations manager for the Property Services Division (PSD) within the Bureau of Local Government and School Services Division.

Within this position the operations manager will plan, organize, and direct the work activities of the Central Office Operations Section. These work duties include but are not limited to: (1) Overseeing the operations section staff that provide assistance and policy recommendations relating to real and personal property assessment practices; (2) Overseeing the petitioning process for omitted or incorrectly reported property under MCL 211.254; (3) Recommending and revising guidelines for proper appraisal and assessment procedures; (4) Formulating current and long-range plans that facilitate the divisions goals and mission statement; and (5) Responding to technical questions from all sources to assist with the administration of the General Property Tax Act.

This position is a permanent, full-time position.
