Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assessor Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in property assessment and/or gain hands-on practical experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and analysis of property data.
• Conduct field inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Learn to interpret and apply property tax laws and regulations.
• Support senior assessors in preparing assessment rolls.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in real estate, finance, or a related field is a plus.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• MCAT certification within 6 months. MCAO certification preferred.
