$35.62 TO $41.29 HOURLY
$74,083 to $85,885 ANNUAL

The City of Rochester Hills is a highly desirable community located in northern Oakland County,Michigan. Nationally recognized for its quality of life and resident satisfaction, Rochester Hills has been developed according to its Master Plan and is home to a wide array of industries, more than 1,000 acres of parkland and a thriving cultural community.  We are currently seeking innovative and dedicated candidates for the position of Appraiser. This position performs the general and technical work involved in the appraisal and valuation of real and personal property for the development of the Assessment Roll and provides courteous and effective customer service to the public through the assessing process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree or two (2) years of college coursework in business, real estate, finance or a related field; AND three (3) years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience deemed necessary to satisfactorily perform all essential job functions.
• State of Michigan Certified Assessing Officer (MCAO) (2).
• State of Michigan Certified Personal Property Examiners (MCPPE).
• State of Michigan drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of computer-assisted mass appraisal (CAMA) system.
• Intermediate proficiency with office computers and related applications.
